About moleskin: Moleskin is a fabric used historically for workwear due to it’s hard wearing properties. Thicker than a classic cotton twill, it is tightly woven with a satin feel on the outer and a soft underside which makes it especially water resistant, comfortable and insulating.

Using a engineered fabric we have developed carefully over many years of experimenting with washes and techniques. Our jackets are of exceptional quality and are built to last. Please see our reviews and ask our many repeat customers for proof of this. We’ve pre-washed these jackets to give a soft and supple worn-in vintage feel to the fabric, the kind that usually comes with years of wear. They are made from a herringbone twill weave cotton which was specifically chosen to echo our favourite type of vintage workwear.
