Having specialised in selling vintage navy chore jackets or ‘bleu de travail’ for some time now (available here ) we wanted to design a product that kept the same classic cut and quality as the vintage designs, but offered a more tailored fit for the modern market. We wanted something that was affordable but also echoed all the details and characteristics of chore jackets worn by labourers and railway workers during the late 1800s through ‘til the mid 1900s. The cut and of this simple but tailored garment is what makes.
